Overview

Yamunotri, located in Uttarakhand's Garhwal Himalayas at 3,293 meters, is the sacred source of the River Yamuna and the first stop on the4 Char Dham Yatra. It features a temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, natural hot springs (Surya Kund), and attracts thousands from May to October.
